Cogstone has completed services on over 350 projects, of varying size and complexity, ranging from routine to high profile. Over fifty percent of these projects have been assessments involving background research, record searches, survey, documentation of cultural or paleontological resources observed, impact assessment and mitigation/management plans. Over forty percent have been multiple-services projects that included assessments, implementation of monitoring programs, evaluation of cultural or paleontological resources encountered for significance, data recovery excavations and laboratory work (stabilization, identification, cataloging, and analysis. The remaining ten percent were largely special studies involving identification and analysis of fossils, archaeological animal bone or human skeletal remains.
We have also prepared and presented numerous cultural and paleontological resources sensitivity training sessions for construction personnel, presentations of archaeological and paleontological resources data to the public and permanent murals and exhibits for public education.
A recent Dun & Bradstreet survey of our clients regarding performance found that more than 90% of our scores were 9 or 10 (1-10 scale with 10 highest). View this report on our Testimonials page.
